Tiny lil story that probably won’t make sense about this bag…
I’ve been crocheting for like… literally probably close to almost 2 decades at this point… (ok maybe more like 1.5 / 1.8 but still !! 😅) and you’re supposed to block your projects and squares to make them lay flat / be the same size etc etc etc …
Ok so I NEVER do

BUT for this project I did…
I made a patchwork skirt ( I haven’t taken pics yet 😭 ) and I didn’t block and the finished result… is nice but kind of wonky. Some of the squares were bigger than others and some didn’t lay flat… etc etc
So for this patchwork project I DID decide to block them and ohhhh my god
I feel so dumb I haven’t been blocking anything this whole time because the difference it made 😭 this whole bag lays flat and there’s no wonky parts or swelling at the seams or anything… like omg I’ve really just taken the lazy route the entire time to make my projects worse off in the long run 😭
At least now I know right… 😭
