My recovery has been crazy slow which is surprising since the doctors keep saying I’m “y0ung and fit.” I got a lot of testing done yesterday and I seem to finally be heading in the right direction. This morning was the first day I truly felt good getting up out of bed (instead of being dizzy and weak). Expect me to start posting more here again now that I’m not laying in bed all day. I’m still not cleared for any sex yet but hopefully in a week or two I will be able to slowly enjoy that again! Since I was feeling good, I even took a few pics 💕 I’m still sad because I was supposed to be camping and hiking this weekend but I will stay home and keep resting. I am hopeful that I am finally really on the mend with no more complications. I matched my bra to my scars/bruises 😂 My stomach will likely be bloated for another couple weeks while I internally heal, but it is looking so much better already. And thanks to all of you for sticking around!!

No I didn’t work out today (~5 more weeks until I will be cleared for that 😭), but I did just sit in my gym and relax. I missed it so much that I just wanted to hang out in there 🤷♀️

Going to attempt to go into the office today for the first time since surgery. It will be my first time driving since so hopefully I don’t get lightheaded or have any pain. Wish me luck!

I am home and just got my first shower after surgery! I am very weak still and just trying to eat and build up strength again. I will mostly be laying in bed for another 5 days while my stomach heals. I have 4 scars on my tummy (which is still very swollen) which kinda sucks.

UPDATE 6/5/22: I am recovering finally and should be cleared for sex in another week or two!! Well I had a day where I felt better from Covid, then got the worst abdominal pains of my life. I have been admitted to the hospital and am awaiting emergency surgery. I know this means that the next few weeks I will mostly only have lifestyle type stuff on this page until I have healed from surgery. Please stick with me and don’t unsubscribe ☹️ I’ll be back and better than ever. The pain I am in is very intense right now with meds not helping too much, so I probably won’t respond to a lot of messages tonight (though I will read them!). Also I’ll have 4 small scars on my stomach when it’s all done. Thanks so much for the support 😘
