For those who are new here, Iām so glad to have you! Iām no Fitness Coach, but I truly believe if you do not bring your body into the equation (internal + external health), youāre going to have an uphill battle in the mind. Whether you hit the gym or you hit a walk⦠get some movement in today. At least 30 min. Itās wild how simple it can be sometimes to feel better.
***Note to self: Feeling too much in the mind⦠thatās your queue to get into the bodyāļø
Someone once told me, āItās so brave to just be yourself.ā And that really landed with me.
Being authentic and honoring the true you all the time is not for the faint of heart. But as much as you can⦠do it anyways.
You will never regret it or have to wonder āwhat if I had just been myself and did what I wanted??ā Youāll be SO grateful for the way you showed up and lived on your terms. Thatās the energy for this upcoming week Iād love for you to play with and try onš
Itās okay to not know what you want to do in life (even if on the outside it looks like you have it all figured out). To me, not having clarity on this just means you havenāt tried enough things yet. Maybe all the things youāve done so far just arenāt it. Keep trying and sampling until you find something that lights you up šš» & then make a note of that. Then keep taking steps in that direction. It really compounds. A journey to a more aligned life can be that simple.
Stand up for yourself! This one is pretty black and whiteš¤š¤ Yes, itās important to let go of the drama in our lives, but if your manager or higher up at work seeās you in a specific light based off inaccurate assumptions⦠you need to speak up for yourself. This can really determine the course of your career otherwise.
Make it a priority to learn how to gracefully and tactfully express your side and your truth, and you will begin to be seen in a light that positions you more as an authority (vs. a pushover).
Whether someone else or just YOU seeās you in that light⦠what matters is the elevation. And speaking your truth gets you there šÆ
Do you believe in the saying, āHow you do one thing is how you do everything?ā
Personally, I do.
When I look at some of my BEST weeks it was because every area of life felt on point.
But the weeks where it felt off and I wasnāt really on top of my game⦠I was slacking. I was making excuses. I was negotiating with myself.
Everything you do compounds. Remember that.
Next time you want to hit the snooze button, skip that step, not do a rep, do that thing later⦠chances are youāre doing that with all areas and the sucky part is⦠youāre only cheating yourself.
I usually like to ask myself at the end of every week, āWhat was one win you had that youāre proud of?ā No matter how big or small? Iāve found that this sets me up to let go of everything I couldnāt control and to focus more on what I could. You do things like this enough times and it really compounds to have some big and impressive effects in the confidence and self loved department. Whatās a win you had this week that you can give yourself some credit and acknowledgment for?
Itās simple but the ROI on something like this really lasts.
Sometimes we forget how powerful we are. We forget that if we just stayed consistent and patient with the process, things would change into more of what we want and our life would follow suit. So many get stuck in the loop of instant gratification and allowing impatience to create stories. Stories that bring you down and make you second guess yourself in every way. >>>Work the process and the process will work.<<< Stay positive, stay grounded and consistent, and trust itās all forming. Doing that will create confidence, which will allow you to own your power and show up as your full self.
Have you ever had a mid-week funk? Maybe you didnāt feel quite like yourself?
If so, what do we do about it?
My main suggestion is to not fight it. But also donāt dramatize it. Donāt make it a whole big thing by attaching a bunch of meaning to it. Just feel the feelings fully and honor what you genuinely need that day. Take it slow and donāt judge yourself. The good news is that this is temporary. Tomorrow is a new day and itās amazing what good sleep can do to shift everything. Let today be what it is and start again tomorrow.
What would you do if someone could come in today and take all the work off your plate? Every tedious task and to-do item and client call and meeting and essentially give you all your time freedom back?
What Iāve found is that most people SAY they want that but when I ask them if they ACTUALLY want that, their answer is always no. Or at least no to some of it because #pride (or control haha)
You see, sometimes we need to break things down a bit to understand them more and to understand their roles in our lives. Maybe your work actually fulfills you more than youāve given credit to it before but itās just SOME of it youād like to do without? Maybe you have an attachment to your to-do list you didnāt realize before but the idea of taking it away makes you question your purpose?
Interesting things to consider as you roll into the week š¤ Identity is the theme. What makes up yours do you think?
One of the best things you can do to create an incredibly productive week ahead that feels really good to step into and deletes the āSunday Scariesā is to simply, plan ahead. Face it now. Donāt push it all off until Monday morning but actually begin your week Sunday. Do a little bit of work and prepping and youāll be amazed at how much better you feel tomorrow, how much better you sleep, and how much more positively you go into the flow of it all on Monday. Just one hour on a Sunday can make all the difference.
Go after what you want. Youāre worth itš„ Every time you play small and convince yourself why you āare fineā without it, and why you ādonāt actually really need it,ā itās just another moment you cut yourself off from your life. Choose YOU more. Let your desires have some stage time. Indulge. If you never do that every once and awhile, whatās the point??
Work smarter, not harder. If thereās a way to lessen the time you have to spend on things to make you money, so you can enjoy life more⦠do it. Ex: learning a little bit of AI to help you write that newsletter or website copy quick⦠use it. Itās not you being ādumbā and ālazy,ā itās you being resourceful and prioritizing what matters most to you. (Of course I want you to also love what you do, but thereās always tasks within even the careers we love that could use some automation to make it more enjoyable haha letās be real)
Go where your heart desires⦠in love, in your career, in activities and hobbies, with food, with pleasure, etc. It will never steer you wrong.
I recently took the day off because I had an opportunity (that I knew was a once and a lifetime experience) to play on a yacht in the Mediterranean with some pretty big name people.
The limiting beliefs past version of me wanted to say, āI wish I could but I canāt today because of work.ā But the NEW and more life loving version of me said, āHow can I make this work??ā
Needless to say I made it happen and will never regret it. Work will always be there. But these moments donāt always appear.
Figure out how to figure it out and just live, baby!
Last night I had to have a really hard conversation with someone that I really didnāt want to have. I had to clearly state my boundaries and what I needed from them from a business standpoint. I needed them to know that because they never set clear intentions with what they were in it for, it had me really uncertain of the future with them. The conversation was long and emotionally exhausting, but what came out of it was a healed relationship, stronger communication and understanding on both sides, and new, much clearer intentions for the plan moving forward.
It ended up being the best thing that could have ever happened to us was to have that conversation. Sometimes the most difficult and seemingly painful things that we have fear about doing⦠are the EXACT things we need to do to move the needle forward.
Next time something like this comes up for you, I encourage you to just go for it. Feel the fear and do it anyways. Youāll end up better for it.
Did you know your environment and who you surround yourself with will (most likelyā¦because of course things like this are never black and white, but HIGHLY likely to) determine the level you reach in life? Yes, the old adage āyou become the average of the 5 people you surround yourself with the mostā is true. So if youāre feeling stunted in life, check your circle. If you feel like you are stuck in the same old patterns in life, check your circle. If you feel like you know life has more available to you but still feels so far away⦠yup, you got it⦠check your circle.
Then, let go of all those who no longer align to where you want to go. Just start distancing and focus on your new life. Better people will enter. I promise you. Theyāre just waiting for you to make space for them.
Sounds silly but it has saved me more times than I can count. >>>Buy your own router and mobile wi-fi hotspot.
I used to spend hours chasing wi-fi and when I did happen to land a cute cafe to work at that had wi-fi, it tended to be spotty and slow at best. As well as completely unsecure. I didnāt feel safe using it at all.
Cannot recommend enough to invest in your own (just be mindful of which countries it works in when shopping around).

Live life on your terms. (Aka: be the Boss/Leader of your life)
Thatās my words of wisdom for you today. If youāre making every decision based on what others want and then feel like youāre walking on eggshells because you fear what others think and have to say about everything you choose to do in your life, youāre going to have a very painful existence. My philosophy: do what feels right for you, and apologize later š
Do you have to deal with a boss who drives you crazy? Does how they treat you make you want to quit all the time but then you realize you canāt quite do thatā¦. yet? So you deal with it but then silently hate your job?
I used to feel that too and you know what helped? Well the first thing is, try having a conversation with them to explain what you have noticed and then what you more need. Bring the data on this one. (Donāt make this a vent session but rather an opportunity to have clear communication and to be solution oriented).
If that doesnāt do anything, then I want to encourage you to either consider other teams and start meeting with them to ask about opportunities on their teams, or leave the company all together. Start job searching on the side and make a plan to get out.
Having a manager you strongly dislike will make or break your performance, stress levels, and overall career/job satisfaction which impacts your whole life. >>>Itās not something you should have to ājust deal with and take.ā
Try these options out and watch how your overall life happiness increases because you not only fix a toxic situation, but also because you put the power back in your own handsšš»
I have tried to tell so many people this⦠but before going full time into your dreams (aka: leaving your 9-5 and going full time into being a business owner as an example) make sure you have enough proof you can support yourself with your dream alone. Essentially make sure you can see that at least 3 months in a row, that dream was able to supply enough income to take care of you if no other money were coming in.
I say this because too many times we want to just JUMP and take the leap and then end up in scarcity mindset which is unnecessary, when you could have been building your dream on the side the whole time instead.
Just because you donāt āburn the boatsā to build your dreams it doesnāt mean you donāt care about them. It just means that you want to enjoy the process. Do it smart and itās only inevitable that youāll be able to make it your full time gig.
Monday motivation for ya⦠if you arenāt sold on you, then you can sure as hell bet that no one else is going to buy either. So get on your team first. Become your biggest cheerleader!! The world will open up from there.
Stop worrying about the competition and focus on you and the moves youāre making. Thatās when you rise š
Before hopping into your work week⦠do something for you today. Place energy on yourself and prioritize YOU before you need to go out there and serve others. Selflessness is not selfishness. Itās what allows you to fill your cup so you can serve from overflow. Itās so important and so underrated. Yes, setting goals is great but if you forget YOU in the process⦠happiness when you achieve those goals will be fleeting. (I know from experience which is why itās something I really care about sharing).
Itās YOUR day today. What are you going to do with it š„°
Do you know where youāre going? Have you decided what you specifically want to move towards in your life? If you donāt set a goal or even a clear intention, then you canāt get upset when life hands you weird cards. Itās just guessing and going off your energy so youāre going to āget what you get.ā
But youāre actually more in control than that.
ā”ļøYouāve got to clearly state what you want and take intentional steps towards it. Thatās how you create fulfillment. And THATāS how you get the dream life⦠you design itš„
(Think of life like youāre going to a restaurant. When the āwaiterā asks what you want to āeatā give them an actual answer⦠donāt let them pick off the āmenuā for you. You might get āfoodā but not what you really wanted.)
As a business owner, something I had to learn the hard way (that I wish someone would have told me YEARS ago that would have saved me so much time and so many headaches) is:

Yes, having a great product and service IS important, but if youāre a stress ball behind the scenes, people can energetically feel that.

Ever wonder why you can spend hours endlessly trying to make something perfect in your perfectionist tendencies and then hear crickets⦠meanwhile the thing that was more fun and effortless seemed to gain the most traction and engagement??
Itās because there was less force behind the latter option. Less trying to prove and more just being fun and easy going.
Aka: a more attractive energy.

ā”ļøNext time youāre about to launch or sell something, pause and ask yourself the following game changing question:
āIs who Iām being right now somebody that I would personally want to connect with & enjoy being around?ā
If you get honest with yourself and canāt answer āYESā to that, then do something to get into a better vibe and feeling FIRST! And thennn sell/launch/deliver/share the thing.
You will begin to see more sales and success this way I absolutely promise you this!
Anyone else love working from home and making it a pajama party? The funnest part about Zoom meetings is that you can really wear whatever you want since they only see from shoulders up :)
Iāve found that when I feel less stressed about my attire, Iām more relaxed and easy going throughout my day. Which really shows me there IS something to ādress to impressā šÆ but sometimes itās nice to go the more relaxed route.
My vote: Monday doesnāt have to be for ākillin itā and going hardcore into your week from the weekend. (Thatās pretty taxing on your nervous system sometimes.) Monday can instead be a nice ease into the week ahead by moving slower and relaxing more while still getting things done šŖš»
