Hi guys! Little update. Two days ago, I had to have the infection site cut into and drained because it became an abscess. The doctor said that if I had waited a few more days, it wouldβve come through externally and ruptured and caused a hole in my butt. It was definitely the most painful thing Iβve ever experienced in my life but after draining, itβs been feeling so much better. Right now Iβm still on a ton of antibiotics but weβre waiting to hear lab results in finding out what bacteria it is so we can properly treat it. Hoping to hear back by tomorrow. But Iβm finally feeling optimistic that things will be over soon. Itβs been a whole month of dealing with this nightmare and Iβm hoping within the next two weeks itβll have cleared up hopefully. Thank you all for being so supportive and patient with me. Itβs been a scary time for me and it means so much that you guys have stuck by me and sent encouraging words and gifts and just had me in your thoughts.
