Hereās what Iām all about when it comes to gifts:
ā
š A gorgeous journal to jot down dreams and goalsāsomething that inspires me every time I open it.
š A cozy blanket or a candle with a warm, soothing scentābecause who doesnāt love turning their home into a comfy little haven?
š Or even something super small but personalālike a book Iāve been wanting to read or a vinyl record with my favorite tunes

But honestly, the most valuable gifts arenāt even things. Theyāre momentsālike a night laughing with friends, decorating the tree together, or even a surprise handwritten card with the sweetest words

⨠Music! Iāve got a playlist packed with holiday classics and dreamy tunes that instantly transport me to a winter wonderland.
⨠Movies. Think classics like Home Alone or something new that pairs perfectly with a blanket and hot cocoa.

But guess what? Over time, Iāve learned a little secret: mistakes arenāt the bad guys. Theyāre more like those tough-love teachers who make us grow (even if we donāt like it at first)
ā
Now, when life throws me a curveball, I try not to spiral. Instead, I ask myself: āWhatās the lesson here?ā or āHow can I do this better next time?ā Itās not about being perfect; itās about moving forward, one small step at a time.
One of the biggest lessons Iāve learned?
ā
Thereās no such thing as perfect conditions.
ā
I used to wait for the āright momentā to start projects, only to realize later that the āright momentā is just a myth. The magic happens when you dive in and figure things out along the way.
So now, mistakes donāt scare meātheyāre just part of the adventure. A little messy, sure, but they keep things interesting!

2024-12-29 15:00:15 +0000 UTC View PostEver had one of those āspontaneousā trips that turns into a full-on comedy of errors?š
ā
That was me, deciding to escape the gloom and soak up some sun on Cyprus for a week. And let me tell you, this trip was a wild ride from the start...
ā
It all kicked off with me almost missing my train because⦠guess who forgot her driverās license at home? Yep, this girl. Cue me racing back, grabbing the license in the nick of time, and jumping on the train with about 30 seconds to spare. Crisis averted, right? Ha, if only.
ā
Fast-forward to me landing in Cyprus at 11 PM, ready to pick up my rental car. The guy hands me the keys and asks for my credit card with my name on it. Spoiler alert: I didnāt have one. No card, not enough cash, and itās the middle of the night. So, weāre off to the nearest ATM with insane fees to fix this little hiccup. But waitāthereās more.
ā
I get to the car and notice something off. Oh, rightāthe steering wheel is on the other side. Turns out, Cyprus has left-hand driving. At this point, Iām exhausted, my phone is down to 15% battery, and Iāve got an hour-and-a-half drive ahead of me. Perfect.š
ā
So, Iām creeping along at 30 km/h, trying not to have a meltdown. And then my phone dies. No GPS, no clue where I am. I somehow end up in a tiny village, completely lost, wandering the streets like a clueless tourist at 1 AM. Eventually, I find a hotel, beg them to let me charge my phone, andāsurpriseāthey have those UK-style outlets, and I didnāt bring an adapter. Classic.
Long story short: I managed to get my phone charged just enough to find my rental apartment. Turns out, I was literally 10 meters away the whole time but couldnāt find the entrance.
Looking back, I canāt help but laugh at the chaos of it all. Lesson learned: always, ALWAYS do a little research before hopping on a planeāeven if itās ājust Europe.ā

2024-12-27 05:56:35 +0000 UTC View PostLife has a funny way of teaching us things when we least expect it. Sometimes itās through moments of joy, and other times, through mistakes we wish we could forget. But in those moments, Iāve always found something important.
The most valuable lesson Iāve learned is this: no one is going to make you happy except you.
For the longest time, I kept putting things off, thinking that the perfect moment was still ahead. The perfect mood, the perfect circumstances, the perfect person who would come along and make everything easier.
But life showed me that happiness isnāt a gift from the outside world. Itās something you create for yourself, step by step.
I remember one moment vividly. It was after a tough period in my life. Everything felt gray, I was lost, and I didnāt know what to do next. One morning, sitting in a completely ordinary cafĆ©, I thought: āWhy am I waiting for things to change on their own? What if I just start with something small?ā
That day, I started taking tiny steps: I bought a book Iād been wanting to read for ages, took time for quiet walks, and paid more attention to things that made me happy. And you know what? Everything started to shift. I realized that happiness doesnāt come from the outsideāit starts within.
That lesson has stayed with me ever since. I donāt wait for the perfect moment to do something I want anymore. If I want to go to the ocean, I look for opportunities, not excuses. If I want to try something new, I go for it, even if it feels a little scary.
Whatās the most valuable lesson life has taught you? What have you learned through tough or inspiring moments? Share your stories in the commentsāIād love to hear themš
