Johnathan came over and I taught him some prop painting techniques. After about 4 hours , he decided he didn't really enjoy painting 🤣🤣 it can be very tedious for sure. I actually enjoy painting the most when it comes to props and he likes to build mostly so i think we will make a good team! It has been nice getting to work with someone and I enjoy teaching stuff too. I spent most of the time patterning and cutting a new shirt for my Belle costume that I've been working on for over a year 🤣🤣 its a dream costume so I really want it to be perfect. This is the third shirt I have made for it actually haha but I think this will be the final one ! I just want it to have aaaallllll of the accessories and gems and details ! I love doing DnD mashups 😊
I have a few lewd photos from the bunny hat shoot I did 🐰 I made the mistake of shooting outside photos and then coming in and immediatly shooting these. The hoodie is really soft but SUPER warm because its fleece. Definitely more of a winter pajama set than summer 🤣 so yeah I was all sweaty which made me annoyed so I only got a couple which I will post to the feed throughout the month 😊 you know i love my gel lights so I decided to use a blue one just for funsies. I thought it gave a nice color for the shadow against the white wall.
I really need to get some more thigh high socks ! I keep losing mine in the laundry 🤣🤣 im still on the struggle bus, trying to convince myself I need to fold the laundry I was complaining about last week haha. Maybe one day it will get done... BUT TODAY IS NOT THAT DAY
Hope you guys have been having a good week so far 😊 some family came into town this past weekend and I have been enjoying hanging out with them recently! I usually only see them twice a year so its very nice, especially after all of this quarantine stuff. The good (and bad 🤣) news is they are all amazing cooks and two are actually chefs that work in fancy restaurants so I have been eating all of the yummy foods which means I have been breaking my healthy diet again 🤣🤣 okay but I bought a bunch of fresh veggies and lean meats so it will be easier now. But I'm never gonna say no to something delicious haha. And they actually taught me some new things which I had a lot of fun learning. I mostly just need to get back working out and ill be okay. Its just nooo fun ! I thought about getting a bike and doing that every morning when I wake up to have a nice change of pace. I haven't ridden a bike in FOREVER and actually I have forgotten how to ride a bike before 🤣🤣 i heard they are kind of hard to find right now but I might go try and look this weekend 🤔

I will probably not be active this weekend because of the holiday so I thought I would spam you guys today! But now it is time for me to have some lunch and start cleaning the house or I will never do it 😭😭 I mostly prefer cleaning while the sun is out. It keeps me in a happier mood seeing the light through the windows while I am doing something so boring 🤣

I try to not put my hands in my hair or near my face for every photo but I can't help it ! I honestly don't usually think about the pose. I just do what I feel like and they always end up being my favorites!
Things I hope to do when the quarantine is over :
Get my hair done - I think I decided I would try out a different color before I decide if I'm going to cut it or not. I think i don't always mind the long hair but I'm really just bored of it. It's been a long time since I had a different color!
Get a pedicure - ugh. This is a total must do. I guess I could do it myself but I really suck at painting my toes ! I always mess up 🤣🤣
Eat inside a restaurant - I know this one might not seem like a big deal but I love to go out with friends and just chat over some yummy food. I think the first thing I will eat is some Tex Mex 🤤🤤 I love me some queso!

When taking pics, I generally set up my phone on a tripod and take as many photos from that angle as possible. Sometimes it can be a pain to move it around, especially in tight places where I don't have a lot of room. I end up taking about 150 photos on average and try to move the camera around at least 5 times or so. Then I only end up choose about 20 to 30 photos that I like. I actually got a lot of good ones in this set and a lot of different angles! My phone only fell in the water once during this whole shoot 🤣🤣 thankfully it still worked or I woulda been really screwed haha.
Today I am listening to A Lot Like Birds - Plan B while I clean. Its by far my favorite album by them. One of the vocalists left after that and I was really sad 😭😭 I never got to see them live !

Today is house cleaning day 😭😭 it will probably take me a few hours and it's just soooo boring but it always makes me feel better. I usually just put on some music and keep going until I can't go anymore ! I generally hate taking breaks when I do anything so I just power through it. I'm always afraid if I stop, I'll never start again 🤣🤣
Good news: woke up early and got a lot of work done! Very productive morning! just ordered some yummy Chicken Marsala as a treat with the nice tips from today ! 😄
Bad news : heard a pop and my power went out. No info on when it will be fixed yet. My phone is at 20% battery because I was on it all morning. Its still quarantine time so I really shouldn't leave. What do I do now?! 😭😭

OMG i woke up BEFORE noon! Can you believe it?! Me either 🤣🤣 well I went to bed by 3 so that a little early for me but with plenty of sleep ! Okay so I think this is how PPV messages are going to work 🤔
As soon as I finish a New set, i will send out a PPV message. The first will give a free, short description. The second will be a PPV message for $5 with 3 photos. The last one will be a PPV message with the remaining photos in the set (usually another 7-12) for $10. If you get purchase both PPV messages, you will have the entire set for $15! After that initial release, I will just offer the set through Pics for Tips. After a few months, I will offer the set one more time through PPV and then it will be retired ! I was in the car today and I looked over and this man was eating a burger 🍔 😭😭 I was like GIMME DAT! Haha. But it's not cheat day so I had a sandwich instead. I got turkey, cucumbers, lettuce, and avocado 🤤🤤 those are my favorite things on a sandwich! Except I usually put chips in it too 🤣 I like the crunchy and salty mmm. Also I like it a little heated instead of super cold.

I liked this photo a lot but the gels came out WAY too neon and contrasting instead of a nice shade of purple. I was sad to just waste it though ! So I made it black and white to neutralize everything and I am so happy with it now ! its a trick I learned a long time ago and I'm glad it came to use now 😊 to fit our purple theme of the shoot, i added a light purple color filter after. I think this photo has a nice dreamy quality now 💜

Also my hair was put up this way because I was still super hot from doing my outdoor Easter shoot before this 🤣 I think it ended up looking nice for the theme though!

I think it's hard for me to post every single day sometimes and to post only once a day on others. I like to post organically instead of having it scheduled to auto post but I guess that makes me more inconsistent. 🤣 some days I have a lot to say and others, I just crawl into my troll cave and work on behind the scenes stuff or veg on the couch while my brain gets a rest. I just don't like to half ass anything. When I do something, I go all in, all at once. I should be better at pacing myself but I guess I live for the burn out 🤣🤣 thats just the way I work best!
I watched the new Mission Impossible last night after my shoots. It was actually the first Mission Impossible I have ever seen haha. I'm not much into action movies because they are just so predictable but i enjoyed it. I gave it a solid 7/10. Has anyone else seen it? What would you rate it?
Another Spiritbox recommendation - The Mara Effect, Pt 3. I would say this is pretty chill music for me. Even though I guess some might say it's not that chill since there's some screaming 🤣
Currently listening to Plini - Electric Sunrise. I listen to mostly instrumental music when I'm working because sometimes songs with words distract me 🤣 and I generally don't like listening to new things either because I can't concentrate fully on the song. I know. Everything is complicated for me haha. I'm definitely Goldilocks. Everything needs to be JUST right 🤣🤣
I actually changed the lighting up a few times during this shoot. On the previous picture, I did backlighting but with this one, the lights were in front of me instead of behind. I was also using one blue gel on the left and one fuchsia gel on the right so I got a mix of both colors from each side.
Currently listening to Spiritbox- Trust Fall. I dont listen to a lot of female vocals but I like this band when they come up on my Spotify radio. I've never listened to a full album before of theirs though.

I was inspired by Dreams, which I associate with the color purple. I think it fits the mood perfectly and I'm so happy with the end results !
I shot this in my bedroom which already has purple walls but I also used some gel lights! I didn't have a purple gel I really liked so I ended up layering a dark blue with a bright fuchsia one after playing around a bit and I got a great shade of purple!

I tried to use my lamp as lighting for this set. It came out pretty bright on my face sometimes but I thought it was pretty cool for the Pink Floyd theme. You could say my butt is... The Dark Side of the Moon 🤣🤣 I know. I'm so funny.
I have been sitting outside a lot lately while I work. It has been nice to enjoy the weather before it gets too hot in Texas. I love watching the squirrels and birds ! Its so relaxing and the dogs like sitting out here with me too. Its my happy place at home 😊

It looks like purple won the lighting vote! Tomorrow is a marathon shoot day for me and I'm going to try it out! I have never done a purple light theme before so it should be interesting to get a nice shade. For now, here is the last photos of my purple nightie shoot I did. Its the only purple thing I own actually even though it's one of my favorite colors haha. Well I have one that is kinda more lavender. Anyways you will see in the next post! Also here is the blueberry lemon cheesecake cake I made! I finished it at like, 3 in the morning haha. I had no idea a cheesecake had to sit in the fridge for 6 hours ! I made a lemon glaze but I think a blueberry one would have been even better. But I didn't have enough blueberries to try it 😭 I had a few bites of it after my healthy lunch today and it was really good ! I got the recipe on cafedelites.com in case you are interested in making it yourself ! Not sure how many bakers there are here but I would recommend it!
I found it! Totally unrelated to anything but someone mentioned At the Drive In - Relationship of Command. I remember listening to that album so much in high school. I was pretty cool 😎 haha anyways I was doing an entire series of pieces influenced by a detective theme and I thought the beginning of Enfilade was perfect so I made this cool ransom note with the lyrics ! I was supposed to then draw it as just use this as reference but I decided that would take too long and I hate typography 🤣🤣 so I never did. BUT it still looks cool ! See ! I have always been this person who doesn't finish things haha.

Well I couldn't sleep. I think I woke up at like, 6 and just laid there forever like this 😳 haha. So I sorted some pics and tried to get more organized for the upcoming week ! Just chilled and listened to some music. I was going through this set so I decided to listen to some The Mars Volta. I only ever saw them once which is where I got this shirt ! I still remember when I saw them, they had all of their Orange amps so I decided to use mine for the shoot! It's a pretty old shirt too and one I always get weird questions about just because the graphic is so strange 🤣🤣 its pretty awesome because it has tour dates on the back which a lot of bands don't really do anymore.
I keep getting asked "what is potato JVD?" And this is a good example. No makeup, band shirt, just rolling around on the floor. You can see my socks are dirty 🤣🤣 but I did clean the baseboards before this shoot! Ugh I did wear a sports bra for this shoot which I was like "oh noes, my boobies 😭" haha

I have been thinking about rolling a new Alliance character just to see how it is different in Cataclysm since I mostly skipped leveling in those lowbie zones when it came out. It would be fun to see how everything changed! But I cannot decide a server ! My original server was Azgalor back in the day, and all of my characters are on there but I am worried it is not highly populated. I don't know if that matters anymore?
