I find it so fascinating, that a sand island in the salty ocean, can hold big fresh water lakes!😳 Apparently, these „perched dune lakes“ can hold water due to organic matter being compacted and forming an water proof layer! Anyhow, it was just nice to swim in a fresh water lake after all that salt water and just float around, without having to worry, that we drift into the open ocean when we got a bit more naughty😈😘
