Added 2020-05-18 18:40:48 +0000 UTCEvening, So I don’t want to jinx anything but we managed to get a viewing at 6pm this evening for a flat after explaining our circumstances. The flat had been vacant and cleaned for over 2 weeks and we maintained social distancing with the landlord whilst viewing - he waited in the kitchen. It’s ideal, needs a lick of paint but has two bedrooms, a bath and shower, open plan kitchen and livingroom. We went unfurnished with white foods as we have all our own bedroom furniture so it just be a case of filling the place up with a sofa, kettle, microwave etc which would take time but it’s got everything we need to live for the time being. The landlord seemed really happy with us as a couple and has said providing our references come through and we give everything they need in the application that we are in. It take time to get Internet and things sorted since the pandemics stopped many people working but it’s a huge step forward. Thank you to everyone whose messaged me, and those who have tipped extra. I appreciate you all, I’ve spent most of my life letting people walk all over me and it has to end. I want to grow as a person, I want to create the best content for you guys and be safe. So please, keep your fingers crossed for me ❤️
