As much as we’d love them to be filled with the joy of celebration as when we were younger, unfortunately, they can be painful times for us as adults. Some of us struggle financially, emotionally with losses, family issues, and trauma. The times that are supposed to be filled with happiness, are filled with grief or resentment. In recent years, I have grown to painfully endure the holidays and just sleep through the new year, waiting to just get them over with. I hope one day I’ll be able to enjoy the holidays again. ❤️🩹
