I will try to make this simple. If anyone on the internet asks you for money, gift cards, personal info- close the chat and walk away. Don’t bother to ask them if they’re real or try and figure it out, just walk away. Don’t involve your feelings and think about how nice the chat was, or engage in wishful thinking. Anyone who messages you to ask for anything is a scammer. Always. ALWAYS.
