Never in a million years did I think anyone would take my posts about my time in Russia and Eastern Europe to be pro-Putin. As much as I do not wanna talk politics here, I have no problem stating what is obvious to almost any Westerner with a brain - Putin is the clear bad guy here. There’s no question or opinions, it’s just a fact. Most Russians are not even falling for his propaganda and are against the war. I have close friends in both Ukraine and Russia, and they are all broken-hearted. The people do not want war and the people always suffer the most. I am worried about my friends and the stability of the world order. This is a place where I share things about myself and I decided to share this. I’m sorry if you were so primed and ready to argue that you misinterpreted my posts. I tried so hard to avoid being political that I guess I didn’t say enough? If you follow me on social media, you’ll see that I am donating 25% of my income this month to a humanitarian charity that is feeding Ukrainian refugees, and I am encouraging others to donate to them as well. They feed people and feeding people should never be political. I’ve volunteered with this charity in California in the past and they’re simply the best way to immediately and directly help the people. We’re not exactly supposed to be raising money for something else or promoting things like that so I had not mentioned it here, but I guess it needs to be said. Sooooo if you wanna argue about politics, this is not the place. This space should be a fun respite from the real world. If I want to argue about something, I can hop on Twitter. I want to have fun here and hopefully you do too ♥️
