Ok more boring explanation, but based on the DMs I’m getting, y’all do wanna know all this, so again, if you think all the info sucks just skip it, I promise We will return to sexy stories soon. I’m explaining everything in posts bc it’s more efficient than emailing the same things over and over. So, the other central issue here, aside from CC companies, is the issue of the IPO. OnlyFans has declared their intent to go public, which means the have to care more about who the audience is, what they want, what type of content is palatable to the masses. This is gonna be a two part explanation… part one below: So as many of you know, there have been and still are many pages on OF that are basically just full of ads, spam you with ads in DMs, and also spam DMs with PPV all the time. The customer base hates this. They have made that really clear. When I first started my page, I would do internal marketing with other models, which meant I had ads for other girls on my page. Many models need this, because how else do you find new fans? Well over time, it became very clear that my fans hated it. My BFF @mrspoindexter and I watched the market very carefully and listened to our fans. Fans hated the ads. But we still needed to be able to find fans. So instead of doubling down on this spammy marketing the fans hate, we found other ways. Y’all know we have large social media followings, and so we just market our pages in that way. And we don’t even ask people to join, it’s just there if you want it. At first, it meant we made less money, because no instant gratification of fans from other models. But over time, it sorts itself, because fans are happier and fans stay longer, so ultimately it’s a win-win. We care about our fans and we listen. You said STOP ads and we did. We only post pics with others who are our friends in real life, and even there it’s not done to be advertising, but because we think you like the content. If the feedback was “we hate seeing you with other girls” then I would listen to that as well. We also used to offer PPV videos, and I have continued to offer these on request, even without sending out mass DMs to ask you to buy. I never was spammy about it or pushy, and some fans still really want these videos. But it became overwhelmingly clear that fans were sick of being asked to pay more money for more things. Some would still buy of course, but to me it just felt like I would be more comfortable offering an all-inclusive type page, that doesn’t ask for tips or for you to buy me things or buy videos etc. I HATE sales and would rather hide out in a storm shelter than harass people to buy things lol. As y’all know, I’m a busy working single mom. I do this for fun, but never deny it’s a type of business. It was kinda a life-saver for me during Covid because I lost my pastry chef job. But I want to have a business that my customers enjoy, and also that I enjoy. So I’ve found a balance that I think works for everyone. While I cannot provide all things to everyone, as I am not a porn star or model or whatever, I think we are all mostly happy lol. We listen to you and are thankful for you ❤️
