📝 A Day in Mia’s Life: How I Made Borscht 🍲Today, I decided to treat myself and my loved ones to a homemade borscht! 💕 And why not? Borscht is pure love, and making it yourself is an art.📌 Preparation:First, I gathered all the ingredients:🥕 Carrots – grated,🧅 Onion – finely chopped,🥔 Potatoes – diced,🥬 Cabbage – shredded,🍅 Beets – grated (and managed to turn everything red in the process).💡 Cooking Process:I heated some oil in a pan and sautéed the onions and carrots—the smell instantly made my kitchen feel warm and cozy. Then, I added the beets, a bit of vinegar, and tomato paste 🍅 to keep the color vibrant. Meanwhile, the both was already simmering in a pot, filling my home with an irresistible aroma! 😍 Once everything was ready, I combined the ingredients, added some spices and a bay leaf, and… let it all simmer.⌛ The Waiting Game:This is always the hardest part—borscht needs time to sit and develop its full flavor. I was tempted to try it right away, but I knew it would taste even better after a few hours. I picked up The Night in Lisbon 📖, but all I could think about was the borscht 😂.
