I don't get upset when it's pointed out, and believe me, it often is. I realize that the readers of whatever crap I type out here get far more annoyed at my grammatical and story errors than I do. So my recommendation for what it's worth is to do what I do. Pretend I wrote it correctly. Then all is good.
